In the third quarter of 2025, the top social networking applications in Qatar displayed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look into the performance of each app on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android, sourced from Sensor Tower.

Threads from Instagram, Inc. showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 8.5K at the beginning of July to approximately 4.9K by the end of September. However, weekly active users increased steadily, reaching about 405.6K by the end of the quarter.

Telegram Messenger, published by Telegram FZ-LLC, experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at roughly $22.9K in late September. Downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 9K to 10K weekly. Active users saw a peak of about 803.6K mid-September.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers hovering around 9K to 10K weekly. Active user numbers were robust, peaking at around 2M towards the end of September.
